MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Over the next couple of mornings around 5 to 6 a.m. they’ll be a nice conjunction in the early morning high southwest sky between the waning gibbous moon and the planet Mars that’s about 112 million miles away.

You can use the moon to find Mars which even with the naked eye has a reddish tinge to it.

I know CBS has had a love affair with Mars ever since Orson Welles and his gang of Madcap Merry Makers did that broadcast but the truth is:

You’ve seen Mars once…you’ve seen it for life.
