MANKATO, Minn. (AP) — Rylan Schwartz had two goals and an assist to lead Colorado College to a 6-2 win over Minnesota State, Mankato Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Schwartz scored on the power play in the first quarter and even-strength in the second. He assisted on William Rapuzzi’s empty-netter late in the third for the Tigers (11-5-0, 9-5-0).
Michael Boivin and Eamonn McDermott also had power-play goals for Colorado College.
J.P. Lafontaine and Michael Dorr scored goals for the Mavericks (5-14-1, 2-11-1).
The Tigers had 44 shots on goal to 26 by MSUM. Mavericks goalie Austin Lee made 38 saves, while Colorado College’s Josh Thorimbert stopped 24 shots.
