MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Another key Republican suddenly announced he’s no longer working for the Minnesota Senate.

Michael Brodkorb was a key contact for Republicans in the Minnesota Senate and a chief aide to Sen. Majority Leader Amy Koch, who resigned Thursday after facing allegations of having had an inappropriate relationship.

When we asked if his resignation was related to the Koch incident, Brodkorb said he had no comment.

Things that make you do hmmmmmmm.

The GOP holds a new conference to announce Amy Koch was sleeping around. With this guy they have NO COMMENT.

    2. Jeepers Wally!! says:

You don’t think he was the “inappropriate” in “inappropriate relationship”, do ya, Wally?

    3. IwonderIf says:

Its funny how we are so obsessed with who is playing a game of grab ars with who..

      1. Dude says:

You’re missing the point. It’s not that it’s the hanky panky itself; it’s the hypocrisy. You have a group of self-righteous fusspot conservative politicians who espouse family values and morality. Yet here are a couple of bigshots in that very same group who get caught fooling around.

It’s not THAT hard to understand is it?

  2. Jake says:

Dale, I think that you have won the Nobel Peace Prize for the MORON OF THE YEAR AWARD!! Congratulations!!!

  3. Scott Funk says:

The MN Republicans are at least a half million in debt, Dale. How much do you want to bet that nobody is getting paid, and that this state is going totally blue in the next 5 years?

  4. BearskinBob says:

Dale Dribble what exactly has this clown done except get caught playing kissy face with his boss? Good Riddance.

  5. frozenrunner says:

The GOP continues to self destruct into a party of self indulgent we can do no wrong types. Will what comes from this be a moral party of moral people?
The local democraaats have flown pretty straight after Dee Long’s gollf trip.that was stike two. I recall a dfl massacare after Wendy got himself selected senator, strike one. The actions of the gop will come back to bite them.

    1. Balanced Beam says:

Actually, it seems to be the opposite. The party is holding the individuals accountable. The DFL would never do that. It would have been swept under the rug, with action taken only if it became publicly damaging.

      1. Such as? says:

You might want to give some examples. Otherwise folks might think you’re just shooting off yer trap.

Oh you ARE just shooting off yer trap?

        Well then!! Never mind.

  6. Ines Beag says:

There is no God, you’re born with no knowledge about him until you get fk by priest or Hindues

    1. kos says:

      Matthew 22
29 Jesus answered and said unto them (including Ines Beag), Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

      Psalms 46
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

      1. Realist says:

There we go!! A couple random bible quotes must certainly prove the existence of a cloud surfing invisible man.

        1. kos says:

          .Luke 13
5 (Jesus says) I tell you (including you, Realist), Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

          1. It Is Written says:

            Piraticus 6

1 Let ye who be without the black spot fire the first cannon.

          2. Woe To You Blind Guides!!! says:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

            Thus sayeth the Lord.

        2. Tom says:

          @ Realist

You take away their religious argument they have no argument. That is how thier brains are programed. They are taught that thinking for themselves is a sin. They are brought up to led around like little lost puppies. And I am very liberal Catholic.

      2. You want quotes from a Holy Book?? says:

I got quotes from a Holy Book:

        Piraticus 1

1 And the Flying Spaghetti Monster called unto Pirate Mosey, and spake unto him out of the pirate ship of the crew, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of the seven seas, and say unto them, if any pirate brings an offering unto the FSM, ye shall bring your offering of spaghetti and meatballs or rum and fish head stew.

  7. Ines Beag says:

    hahaha very funny!

  8. Ron Paul II says:

What the real problem within our party remains the Teabagger Michele Bachmann.
The rest of this can happen to any party and does. To have a Bachmann continually making a jack ass out of herself and hence by affiliation the party is a flat out disaster. She defines dysfunctional, hate and racism hiding behind a tattered and torn “bible” which everyone knows is a sham anyway. May God have mercy on her soul.

    1. newcraft says:

But she’s been more or less disowned by the party, Ron. She went to D.C. before her prez run and tried to get leadership roles in committee and was turned down. Then suddenly she got the spark to turn that ‘success’ into a presidential bid.

The party’s problem isn’t Michele. She’s done enough to distance herself.

The ‘rest of this’ doesn’t happen to just any party either – leadership resigning en masse amidst debt and corruption allegations? I’m struggling to remember the last time it happened 3-4 major players in one week in any other party. Individuals, yes, but not the top tier all in the same week. This is fairly unprecedented.

  9. Reggie says:

Wow, who let the trolls out?

Are the people resigning true conservatives or RINOs? Getting liberal weak-minded compromisers out of the Republican party is a good thing.

    1. newcraft says:

If the leadership are RINOS – who’s left? They can’t ALL be RINOs, Reggie.

    2. @Reggie says:

LMFAO – You also co-win the Idiot of the Century Award.
The party you desire, the far right conserv’s are the Michelle Skankey Bachmann’s so —- you basically are tossing in the towel and concdeding to the libs.
Idiots – to many idiots like you out there destroying the sensible moderate GOP – which was the peoples party over the libs EXCEPT for right wing trash that makes the libber’s seem sane.
Go destroy , oh I dunno, maybe an island in the Pacific. You can take all 37 of your fellow fruit cakes with you …. you’ll all fit 😉

  10. Yogi Bear says:

God is not on our side because he hates idiots also.

Blondie from the The Good, the bad and ugly.

    1. Well!! says:

Guess THAT settles it, eh Yogi?

  11. Huzzah!! says:

You tell ’em Dale. US out of UN. Resist Agenda 21. Back to the Gold Standard. Impeach Earl Warren. In your heart, you knew he was right.

  12. chet says:

  13. Murph says:

Brodkorb might be linked to the Mississippi mayor’s purchase of Xmas presents at the sex shop.No end to the ifs ands and butts in this GOP orgy of oddball behavior! They are all rotten to the core!

  14. BearskinBob says:

Who is running this comment site anyway? It seems that after a few hours the order of comments is all jumbled. Half of the parent comments disappear even though they didn’t appear to violate terms and then the reply’s to those parent comments live on as orphans which make no sense because they were directed to the parent comment.

  15. Kevin says:

Am I the only one that didnt **ck her? Im not into fatties….but….I would have shaken her tree….

  16. jackactionhero says:

Michael Brodkorb and I were best friends in elementary school, and next door neighbors. His birthday is on Friday. Happy 38th, buddy! I’m jealous if you tagged Amy K. 🙂
