MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Winter officially begins at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, but it won’t feel like winter for quite some time.
Our cold days will still be near average with our warm days much toastier. We could have a few flurries late on Wednesday as a cold front drops across the state.
Like many frontal boundaries that have passed lately, this one swings through lacking in the moisture department.
It will be warm in the afternoon with cooler air to follow for our Thursday. Expect highs in the upper 20s (average for this time of year).
We warm again as we head toward Christmas.
Looking down the road, we should have mild temperatures and a fairly dry stretch.
I don’t see any measurable snow until 2012. Quite the opposite from last year.
