EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (WCCO) — A woman was able to escape an early morning fire at her home in Eden Prairie Monday.

Police say the woman escaped around 3 a.m. from her home on the 1200 block of Sunnybrook Road in Eden Prairie.

The woman said she woke up to her deck and curtains on fire. Neighbors called authorities and the woman was able to get out safely.

Her cat, however, is unaccounted for.

The front and back of the home suffered damage, but estimates are not known at this time.

The woman is currently staying with family.
