The accident happened at about 11:14 p.m. Thursday on Highway 32 near 4th Street in Red Lake Falls, which is just north and east of Crookston in northwestern Minnesota. When authorities arrived, they determined that a vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 32 in Red Lake Falls when it lost control on a slushy roadway and slid sideways, striking a tree.
