Police: Woman In Stolen Car Leads Cops In Chase

MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (WCCO) — Police say a woman in a stolen vehicle led officers on a chase Friday morning.

Officers said the chase began on Maryland and Century after a woman was pulled over for a stop sign violation.

Police said the woman fled, heading north on Century.

The police chase ended after the woman crashed into another vehicle at 7th Street on the border between Oakdale and North St. Paul.

Police say the woman had multiple warrants out for her arrest, and she was driving a vehicle they say was reported stolen in Wisconsin.

The woman, who was not immediately identified, was taken to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
