MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities have identified the man arrested in connection with a 39-year-old Oakdale woman’s stabbing death.

Police arrested 44-year-old Thomas Fox, of St. Paul, Thursday at around 2:30 p.m. during a traffic stop near the intersection of 10th Street and LaSalle Avenue in Minneapolis.

Authorities said police arrested Fox on a fugitive warrant after he fled a half way house while on a work release program.

Fox is currently being held in the Hennepin County Jail.

Charges are pending as the investigation continues. Charges are expected to come from Washington County, authorities said.

Authorities said Fox knew Lori Christine Baker, the stabbing victim. However, police have not said anything on their relationship.
