BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) — Families will ring in the new year Saturday with the “Rock the Universe” party at the Mall of America’s Nickelodeon Universe.

The event runs from 6 p.m. until midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Guests will walk the Nickelodeon orange carpet, where they will strike a pose and receive a photo.

The School of Rock Road Crew will perform from 9:30-10:30 p.m. At 10 p.m. they will lead a family New Year’s countdown.

Other activities include rock hair and face painting, making music videos, and a chance to meet Nickelodeon characters.

Unlimited ride wristbands are available for $29.95 plus tax.
