CHASKA, Minn. (WCCO) – A Chaska couple was arrested recently after a fight over ordering pizza led police to drugs, authorities said.
On a recent evening, a male and female called to order a pizza and have it delivered. The man started to place the order when the woman told him he was ordering wrong and messing it up, according to police.
The couple started to argue, and the man hung up the phone. The woman grabbed the phone and threw it at him, then punched him several times. The man defended himself with a pillow and was able to restrain the woman until police arrived.
When authorities arrived, they separated the couple and found a large glass bong, drug pipes and a small amount of marijuana. The man told police the items were his, and he was cited for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. The woman was arrested and charged with domestic assault and fifth-degree assault.
