Weather Blog: Warm Winter

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- On Wednesday we were 4 degrees shy of matching the daily high of 41 degrees set back in 2007.

The daily record for Thursday is 47 degrees, which is a record that has stood for 127 years. We will take a run at it in the Twin Cities with towns in west and southwest Minnesota taking a run at 60 for a high.

A cold front swings through early on Friday, but it comes through dry. We will cool down, but our highs will remain in the low 40s Friday with low 30s over the weekend.

As far as snow, don't expect anything until next Wednesday at the earliest. At this point, it looks like flurries.
