BALDWIN, Wis. (WCCO) — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says six people were injured when a driver made an illegal u-turn on Interstate 94 near Baldwin, Wis.
On Wednesday at 12:57 p.m., a westbound van made the u-turn through a crossover and entered eastbound I-94, causing an eastbound Mega Bus and semi to swerve to miss the van. The bus and semi collided, and the semi entered the median while the bus was driven onto the shoulder.
Six people received non-life threatening injuries.
A bus from the Baldwin-Woodville School District took the remaining passengers from the scene.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash.
