MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Believe it or not, the date is Jan. 5 and parts of Minnesota has a chance of hitting 60 degrees today.
The entire state should hit at least 40s Thursday — with the Twin Cities looking at a high of 47.
Meteorologist Mike Augustyniak said that balmy 47 could have a chance of beating a 127-year-old record in the metro.
The record-warm trend will continue through the weekend, though it won’t quite reach the potentially record-breaking heat of Thursday.
