MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 41-year-old woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 35 and 230th Avenue in Milltown, Wis.

The crash happened around 3:48 p.m. on Sunday. Crash investigators say Shannon Zbleski, of Milltown, was driving north on Highway 35 when a second vehicle heading west on 230th Avenue entered the intersection.

The second vehicle, was being driven by 27-year-old Dayne Bottolfson, of Centuria. Police say Bottolfson struck Zbleski, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway and roll off the highway.

Both drivers were seriously injured in the crash and transported to St. Croix Regional Medical Center. They were then both flown to Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

Zbleski eventually died at Regions due to her injuries.

Bottolfson was reported to be in critical condition.

Based on the crash investigation, it appears neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
