Police: Man Steals Prescription Drugs From Walgreens
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – Police are investigating after a man allegedly robbed a St. Cloud Walgreens of a small amount of prescription drugs.
Police learned of the robbery, which occurred at a Walgreens located on the 2500 block of West Division Street, Thursday at 6:21 p.m. Staff at the store told police that the man made threatening statements, implying he had a weapon. However, he did not show one, and no one was injured, police said.
Police described the suspect as about 30-years-old, 150 pounds, 5-and-a-half-feet tall, wearing a black Columbia hooded jacket, a black ski mask and a black skull cap, which covered his eyebrows.
The suspect demanded a specific prescription drug from the staff. After receiving what police described as a small amount, he ran out of the store, heading west, police said.
