Denver Edges Bemidji St. 3-2

DENVER (AP) — Jason Zucker scored two power-play goals to lead Denver to a 3-2 win over Bemidji State Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

Zucker scored his first goal at 16:47 to tie the game 1-1. Bemidji State (11-11-2, 5-9-2) had taken a 1-0 lead on Ben Kinne's goal at 10:50.

Bemidji State's Brady Wacker and Denver's Chris Knowlton exchanged goals to leave the game tied 2-2 early in the third period.

Zucker broke the tie for the 16th-ranked Pioneers (13-8-3, 8-5-3) with 8:10 left to play.

Joey LaLeggia had three assists for Denver.

Juho Olkinuora had 25 saves for Denver, which won Friday's game 6-3.

Bemidji State goalie Dan Bakala made 25 stops.
