Nasty …. wire and fences and trees all been known to be hazards. A sleds not much different than a car – speed sometimes kills.

  2. John says:

Very sad my heart goes out to the family

  3. C'mon says:

Obviously was not riding safely, which I have been guilty of before, but when you have a 6 year old passenger you use better judgement, hope she recovers.

  4. Billy Bob says:

as sad as one fatality is at least it wasn’t two

  5. Ellaj says:

unfortunately the whole story is not always told and people are mislead—it was an accident–he was not riding fast and his quick action saved her life—unfortunately i never once saw this story on any of the local tv stations—they are all too busy with cutsie fluffy news

    1. Clown says:

It’s not possible to ride safe and miss a corner, hop a sled and you’ll see that, he killed himself and he’s lucky he didn;t kill a 6 year old.

  6. Murph says:

Machines are great until they’re not! In all weigh the expense, the hazards and your health before buying anything? Woods walking is better! It’s a shame that accidents like this one happen ! May the little one recover and the family find peace and solace!

  7. sledder says:

My prayers for the family, hope the little girl is ok. Like a lot of things snowmobiling can be dangerous no matter how careful you are. My dad hit a barbed wire fence back in his “younger days”. Got him right across the neck, thankfully his guardian angel was on duty that night.

  8. allan says:

my wife suffered a massive heart attack while riding snowmobile!!!! guess what???? the sled ran off the trail into the brush. i could not revive her,nor could the parimdics the news was WOMEN DIES IN SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT. it put a stain on her memery. the new only reports half of the story.
