MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minnesotans will likely wake up to snowflakes Monday morning as they prepare for the workweek and their commutes.
The freezing rain that fell much of the day Sunday turned to snow overnight, turning some roads into a slippery, snow-caked mess.
Snow is expected to fall until Monday afternoon. After the snow, the wind will likely pick up to form a chilly evening.
The rest of the week looks to be mild with high temperatures reaching the low 30s — a refreshing contrast when compared to last week’s sub-zero dips.
