MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Rep. Tim Walz says he raised almost $211,000 in the fourth quarter as he prepares to run for a fourth term representing southern Minnesota in Congress.

Walz, a Democrat, reports a little over $617,000 in cash on hand.

Neither of Walz’s two challengers was ready Monday to report fourth quarter numbers. Sen. Mike Parry, a Republican from Waseca, and former state Rep. Allen Quist, also a Republican, had raised almost nothing through the third quarter.
