Rep. Paulsen Endorses Romney For President

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota U.S. Rep. Erik Paulsen is endorsing Mitt Romney in the Republican presidential race.

Romney’s campaign announced the endorsement Thursday. Paulsen is the first Minnesota Republican congressman to make an endorsement since Gov. Tim Pawlenty dropped out of the GOP field last August. Both Paulsen and U.S. Rep. John Kline had been supporting Pawlenty.

Minnesota U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann dropped out of the presidential race more recently. She says she does not plan to endorse a candidate prior to Minnesota’s caucus on Feb. 7.

Paulsen was elected to the U.S. House in 2008. He represents much of suburban Hennepin County.

Its over for you neo-con right-wingers. The demographics in this country will only continue to favor the Dems. Soon we’ll have a two party system of Independents and Democrats. The Republican Party will be minimized to a regional thing in the south at best. The south seems to be filled with morons who vote against their own interest. Good luck trying to get 65% of the white vote for national elections.

    Obama/Biden 2012 Hillary 2016!!!

I love it when a lefty tries to appear knowledgable and fails. Great job.

I love it when a righty tries to appear knowledgeable and fails, especially with spelling.

This seems to be refuted by the DFL’s panicked response to the growth in the Republican areas of the state in the redistricting discussion. I suppose it’s a little like trying to argue why the Vikings will be great next year, only to be overcome by the reality that the current public pension system is like a weak offensive line. It’s not sustainable if one wants to survive.

The republicans wouldn’t be making every effort to BLOCK THE VOTE with voter ID laws if I wasn’t correct. You need to watch some C-SPAN and read. I know according to Hannity, Limbaugh and FOX this is a center right country but the numbers don’t lie. IT’S OVER GUYS.

  6. sounds of silence says:

He either wants something, or, he wants to appear intelligent having chosen the nominee that we all already know will be selected.
