Back At The Dome, TwinsFest Kicks Off This Weekend

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- TwinsFest 2012 is ready to go inside the Metrodome.

The event, which is designed to give Twins fans and inside look at the MLB organization, also gives them a chance to get pumped-up for the upcoming season.

It runs from Friday, Jan. 27 through Sunday, Jan. 29. More than 60 current, former and future Twins will be on hand throughout the weekend.

Last year, organizers were forced to find a smaller venue because the Metrodome's roof collapse under the weight of snow. It had to move to the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn. and that limited the number of tickets. The event ended up selling out all 25,000 tickets by the beginning of January.

This year, tickets aren't limited because it is back to being held at the newly-renovated Metrodome. The chance to buy advance tickets is over, but you can still buy them at the door for $15 for adults and $8 for kids.
