MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 46-year-old Owatonna man pleaded guilty Friday morning to one count of making child pornography.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Michael Sherman admitted to coercing an underage girl and boy into engaging in sexual activity.

Authorities found images and videos of the activity on Sherman’s computer and cell phone, according to the justice department.

The charge carries with it a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, but Sherman could face up to 30 years. His sentencing is still pending.

Do you know how many Adults are in prison, because some minor is on Facebook or Yahoo!. We pay 26,000 a year to house them, and the prisons are full. Parents Wake Up, know what your kid is doing on the computer.

Ej excuse u these kids are under the age of 7 yrs old and didn’t involve Facebook

All I have to say is put him in open population in jail. We won’t have to worry about paying for him to do anything for long :)

I think the way to square the circle of excessive leniency and excessive punishment is this: anyone convicted of a heinous felony like this should be sent to prison for life. And in his prison cell he should get all the free cocaine and crystal meth and heroin he wants. Then it’s up to him whether he chooses to live a long life, or to live a very short one.
