why does their need to be a “fund raiser” when this guys family already is going to get huge benefits from workmans comp, city insurance and multiple other entities that are going to pay significant money?…..police take another blow to their credibility with this one……this family will likely get way more money than they need to live comfortably on the rest of their lives.

Another crass statement. Bless all the peace officers who put their lives on the line everyday. I hope the fundraiser brings in tons of money for this heartbroken family.

Cop a “peace officer”? That’s a a contradiction in terms.

W T H kind of comment is that? It’s a sad time for the family. I hope they have a good turnout for this worthy cause.

  • Kel

Why do they need a fundraiser? Completely agree with Kevin and alligator. Can this just go away already?!
