GOP Hopefuls Make Their Final Stands In Minn.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Republican presidential hopefuls Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum made their final stands in Minnesota Monday — the eve of the state’s caucuses.

Mitt Romney, the GOP contest’s current front-runner, was the only one absent. While his competition scrambled to make a statement, Romney focused on Colorado, which also holds its caucuses Tuesday.

Meanwhile in Minnesota, the campaigns of Paul and Santorum were the most noticeable, as both made various stops about the state over the weekend. On Monday, Paul held rallies in St. Cloud and Minneapolis, and Santorum spoke in Rochester before flying off to Colorado.

Gingrich rallied hundreds of his supporters Monday night in the ballroom of a hotel near the Mall of America.

Both Santorum and Paul will be in Minnesota Tuesday.

With these ultra right wingers concentrating their efforts on Minnesota, I now know how the Poles felt on September 1, 1939.

Who is the only true peace candidate? Who is the only candidate that follows the Constitution? Who is the only guy that openly speaks of ending the drug war? RON PAUL! Lets face the facts, BO is every bit the neocon as Bush! Ron Paul is the man! And for those that will name call childishly, remember, people only name call because they lack the intellect to debate. RON PAUL 2012!

    • Ron Paul or Else

well, i was going to comment, but deep just said it all.

I will add something for the RP supporters out there. We have got to get people to caucus tonight. Santorum’s evangelical and pro-war neo-con supporters WILL go to caucus. So low turnout by the general population is not going to get us the win. PLEASE, get on the phone, email and let people know where there caucus sites are.

    GO RON PAUL!!!
