Looking To Reset Campaign, Santorum Hits 3 States

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Republican Rick Santorum is planning some last-minute campaigning in each of the three states holding presidential contests Tuesday.

The former Pennsylvania senator is set for a morning rally in deeply conservative Colorado Springs, home to the Christian organization Focus on the Family. From there, he expects to campaign in Minnesota and then end his day in Missouri.

Santorum largely bypassed the nominating contests in Florida and in Nevada to lay the groundwork for this trio of states. He’s been aggressively criticizing rivals Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.

Santorum was the declared winner of Iowa’s lead-off caucuses but has posted four consecutive losses since. He is hoping Tuesday could give his shoestring campaign a second life.

Focus On The Family and Dobson have been branded hate groups for their obsession with gays by the Southern Poverty Law Center. And they really had to earn that distinction. So it sounds about right that Santorum who is also obsessed would be there.

Another dino that has to go. Another government Nanny.

why is he bothering? Of the four left he has the least number of delgates and he is the most moderate. The Republicans have spoken, they want a hard line far right leaner (Newt or Mitt) and Ron is just too far out there. So, that means it will be Mitt no matter what the rest of us want. Once again we will have to plug our noses and choose between the lessor of two evils (Mitt or Obama)..

They should get better at small scale stealing before trying for the big time stuff.Little Scotty Walker will never get that far.As it seems he had too many accomplices and too little brain matter! Pawlenty just couldn’t control his addiction to mugging the old, weak and sick people to not tax the rich! No real GOP presidential material has left the GOP in quite a pickle it seems!
