Dietician's Book Helps You Make Calories Count
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A dietician who helps professional athletes lose weight has written a book to help the rest of us: The "Active Calorie Diet."
Leslie Bonci says the diet is not about counting calories but making calories count. All calories are not the same. In other words, there are certain foods you eat that when you eat them, your body actually expends more calories to break them down.
The book has more than 140 recipes and suggestions of how to order an active plate at a restaurant.
