St. Paul Man Gets 30 Years For Sexual Assault Of 3 Girls

ST. PAUL (WCCO) — A 43-year-old St. Paul man was sentenced to 30 years in prison in Ramsey County District Court Thursday for the criminal sexual assault of three young girls at his St. Paul apartment.

Mark Allen Busse is already serving a 30-year sentence for photographing and filming pornographic images of three girls and one boy who were all under the age of 10.

In the plea agreement, Busse admitted that on April 20, 2008, he took pictures and filmed one girl while she was sleeping. He also admitted in 2006 that he took photos of a second girl while she was sleeping. In 2008, he admitted to taking pictures and video of a third girl and a boy. In every instance, the images produced showed the children engaged in sexually explicit content.

According to the complaint, the videos clearly showed Busse fondling and penetrating both victims. Busse abused and photographed the third victim throughout 2006.

In addition to 30 years, Busse will have 25 years of supervised release.

At 43 it looks like he will never get out.

    What a sick man.
All he had to do was call me and ….. certainly could have avoided this.
I found him to be incredibly hot

Don’t know what pic you found of him..but I knew the guy and he is no hottie…he’s gross. And for you to say you’d do a child rapist..shameful.

  3. Brett says:

Not saying that this sentance was unfair, but a lot of murderers don’t get anywhere close to this amount of time. Is that something we can fix?

  4. FELICE says:

WHY DIDN’T THE MOTHERS GET THE SAME JAIL SENTENCE AS HIM? EVERY SINGLE INSTANCE THE KIDS WERE PUT WITHIN THIS CREEP’S REACH BY THIER MOTHERS. I DON’T SEE THAT THE KIDS WERE KIDNAPPED ANYWHERE HERE. THE MOTHERS’ JAIL SENTENCE SHOULD BE JUST AS LONG AS HIS.

Have you followed this story from start to finish? Are you aware of all of the details of the case?

I’m willing to bet “probably not.”

Are you involved in the lives of these families at all? Again, “probably not.”

Thus, you are in NO position to judge. Perhaps if you’d been willing to read some backstory, you’d know that the children in question were at sleepovers.

You can’t tell sick people just by looking at them. This man seemed to be a normal individual. Not even one of those ridiculous internet background checks would have turned up anything.

You yourself would not have been able to prevent your own children from coming into contact with this man, or someone like him. And that’s what probably scares you the most. Instead of a reactive response, consider a proactive response to help prevent this from happening to *any* child, EVER again.
