Body Found In Mpls., Police Investigate

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis officers are investigating how a man, found in an alley parking lot, died.

Police said a body was found around 4:30 a.m. Friday near Plymouth and Bryant Avenue.

The man, who was in his 20s or 30s, was near the Minneapolis Nutrition Center where people were arriving to make public school lunches.

Officers said there were no visible signs of trauma, but they haven't ruled if his death was suspicious or natural.

Investigators appeared to focus on an area near a dumpster in the early morning.

The victim's identity and cause of death will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office after its investigation.
