Weather Blog: Real Winter

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It actually feels like winter again.

We had afternoon highs in the teens, it felt below zero with the wind and people were unrecognizable in all of their winter gear.

Saturday will be very similar to Friday. Expect a good deal of sunshine with highs in the metro climbing into the teens. It will feel colder with a stiff breeze from the northwest, so be sure to bundle up.

We will warm to the upper 20s on Sunday, and we are right back into the 30s next week.

When will it look like winter? We actually have a chance for snow Monday. We could see a few inches across southeastern Minnesota with a chance of a little less in the Twin Cities.

It doesn't look like much, but anything is better than the trace we have picked up over the past 13 days.

It looks warm and dry for Valentine's Day.
