Light Snow Could Snarl Monday's Rush Hour Commute

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A dusting of snow is in the forecast and although it won't be quite enough to shovel, it could mess up your evening commute.

Meteorologist Mike Augustyniak said the show should start around lunchtime with a few flakes falling in the Twin Cities. That snow will continue until this evening but it drops off sharply, just north of the metro.

Areas north of the cities will see very little snow, and possibly, none at all.

Augustyniak said areas to the south could see as much as an inch of snow by about 6 p.m.

Other areas will see a coating but it could be just enough to make the evening rush hour a little hairy. Watch the full forecast above.
