Minnetonka Wins National Cheer Championship

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A big congratulations to the new National Cheer Champions.

The Minnetonka High School Varsity Cheer Team took home first place at this weekend’s Universal Cheerleaders Association championships.

They were held in Orlando, Florida.

Minnetonka beat 16 other schools in the semi-finals and 10 other schools in the finals.
