MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Golfers are ready to kick off the unofficial start to the 2012 golf season in Minnesota.
The Minnesota Golf Show opens Friday at noon at the Minneapolis Convention Center and runs through the weekend.
There are the latest gadgets in golfing — phone apps that can help perfect your swing and more.
One of the features of the show is a chance to win $100,000. Anyone can try a 75-foot putt for a small fee which goes towards First Tee, a program that helps kids learn life lessons through the game of golf.
Whoever sinks the long-putt will have another chance at the Show Sunday for the $100,000 prize.
