Your weekend could be full of fashion shows, movies on a really big screen and skiing for a great cause. Here are some cool events you can check out this weekend.


On Friday, party the night away while helping skiers with disabilities at the 3rd annual Courage Center’s Moonlight Madness. Not only is it a great cause, it’s going to be a great time with music, hot tubs, food and more. Even popular local group Tapes ‘n Tapes will be getting in on the action. Gates open at 5 p.m. Friday at Trollhaugen Ski and Snowboard area in Dresser, Wis. Tickets are $45, and that includes your lift pass.


Minnesota Fashion Week is back with new styles and events. You can celebrate Twin Cities fashion all around town at runway shows and retail events, and none overlap. It kicks off Saturday, and events wrap up Feb. 25.


Waves, wild animals and outer space — it’s all in 3-D this weekend at the Minnesota Zoo. The IMAX 3-D Film Festival features three films that will run through March 8. Tickets are $9.75, and if you want to stay for more than one show, it’s just $6 for the second film and $3 for the third.
