TWIN LAKES TOWNSHIP, Minn. (WCCO) — Authorities discovered a man dead and a woman suffering from an unknown medical condition inside a residence Friday morning, according to the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in a Twin Lakes Township residence Friday morning, according to the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office says Carlton County Dispatch received a 911 call from a man at a residence on County Road 4 who could see through the window and observed a man lying on the floor. He said he didn’t know if the man was alive or dead.

Deputies and an ambulance responded and discovered a man dead and a woman suffering from an unknown medical condition inside the residence.

The woman was transported by ambulance to the Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Right now, the death is being investigated as suspicious in nature.

The victims’ identities will not be released until further investigation and notification of relatives.
