Wis. Couple To Make Debut On ‘Amazing Race’

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — An Army officer and his wife from Madison, Wis. will be among those you’ll see racing across the globe, starting tonight.

Dave and Rachel, an Army wife and a combat pilot, will compete and reconnect on the show.

The 20th season of Amazing Race will take contestants through five continents, 22 cities and nearly 40,000 miles.

The host told WCCO-TV’s Mike Binkley that there are lots of competitive people on these latest teams.

“Within 20 minutes of the show starting, they start in Santa Barbara here and all of the sudden, they’re in South America and I get off a plane — sitting on a plane — and ‘The Amazing Race’ has begun,” said Phil Keoghan, host.

The Amazing Race is on CBS tonight at 7 p.m., right after 60 Minutes.

They look relatively fit. I thought everybody from wisco was fat, bald, lazy and had kankles!
