ST. PAUL (WCCO) — St. Paul Police have identified the body of a man discovered Sunday morning and ruled his death a homicide.
Police said the residents of a house on the 1100 block of Western Avenue found a man’s body near a garage. He has been identified as 22-year-old Dominic Neeley of St. Paul.
The owners of the property on which the body was found said they heard two to six gunshots (or what sounded like gunshots) Thursday night. They said they haven’t gone out to the garage recently because it’s been iced over.
The body was dressed in winter attire, but police said they don’t know how long he had been lying near the garage.
Police are not elaborating on what caused his death.
Any updates on the death will be made in the coming days.
