Man Crashes Into Building Near St. Cloud, Nobody Hurt

WAITE PARK, Minn. (WCCO) – Police say there were no injuries after a car jumped a curb and crashed into a building Monday night in Waite Park.

The crash happened at about 9:19 p.m. on the 100 block of 28th Avenue South at the Traut Wells water testing and treatment facility, police said. When authorities got to the scene, they learned that a 52-year-old man from St. Joseph was driving northbound on 28th Avenue when he fell asleep, crossed the center line of the road, jumped the curb and struck the building.

The car got about half of a car length into the water treatment facility, causing exterior and interior damage. There were no injuries as a result of the crash, which is still under investigation at this time.
