COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota native Tippi Hedren is coming to the Twin Cities next month to introduce a free screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s “Marnie.”
Hedren stars in the 1964 psychological study of a compulsive thief who’s forced to marry business owner Sean Connery after he catches her stealing.
Hedren and Turner Classic Movies host and film critic Leonard Maltin will introduce “Marnie” on March 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Heights Theater in Columbia Heights.
It’s part of TCM’s 10-day “Road to Hollywood” tour leading up to the 2012 TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood.
Although the screening is free, tickets are required. The free tickets may be obtained online.
