5 Arrested After St. Cloud Meth Bust

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities arrested five people in an apparent drug bust involving methamphetamine in St. Cloud, according to police.

Police executed a search warrant at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday on the 200 block of 19th Avenue North in St. Cloud. Authorities suspected the sale of methamphetamine after an ongoing investigation. When they arrived, authorities seized about 14 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of cocaine.

Four of the five were arrested for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. The fifth was arrested for second-degree sales of a controlled substance.

Arrested were 30-year-old Melissa Katherine Wiler of Brownton, 30-year-old Melinda Ann Wiler of St. Cloud, 35-year-old Thomas Richard Walsh of St. Cloud, 27-year-old Cody Michael Thorson of St. Cloud and 25-year-old Amber Jean Poissant of St. Cloud.
