MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Police say the case of a woman who was found dead in a hot tub in Plymouth does not appear to be suspicious.
Police say a 52-year-old Kari Dayton, of Nisswa, Minn., was found unresponsive in a hot tub at a home on the 17000 block of 24th Avenue North in Plymouth. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office said that Dayton died of as a result of accidental drowning.
Authorities say she was visiting relatives at the home.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the case.
