Lynx Trade Houston To Phoenix For Draft Pick

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Lynx announced Tuesday they have traded forward Charde Houston and their 24th pick in the upcoming WNBA Draft for the 18th pick in this year's draft.

Houston was drafted by the Lynx in the third round of the 2008 WNBA Draft. She was selected to the all-star team in 2009.

Last season, Houston averaged just 7.8 minutes per game, 2.9 points per game and 1.7 rebounds per game in 27 appearances. All figures were season lows.

The Lynx will have six picks in the 2012 WNBA Draft, which will be in April. They have two first-round picks, three in the second and one in the third.
