MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — More Minnesotans choose WCCO-TV for local news and information than any other station in the market.
WCCO-TV dominates in local news coverage by delivering the most viewers in six of seven newscasts Monday through Friday at 4:30 a.m., 6 a.m., Noon, 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., it was announced today by Brien Kennedy, WCCO TV Vice President and General Manager.
According to the February Nielsen ratings results, over the course of an average weekday, WCCO-TV newscasts deliver 33 percent more viewers over the nearest competitor.

Not only is WCCO-TV the most-watched station for local news, but it is the most-watched station overall from sign-on to sign-off.
WCCO delivers 23 percent more viewers on average than the nearest competitor. In addition, WCCO-TV’s CBS prime time delivers 34 percent more viewers on average than the nearest competitor.
