MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 24-year-old man broke one of his legs in multiple places Friday after his pickup truck went off road in Watonwan County, hit two trees and ended up in a creek bed, authorities said.

The crashed happened around 1 p.m. on 650th Avenue, just north of 430th Street, the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office said.

Tyler Nelson was driving his 1999 Chevy Silverado south on 650th Avenue when his pickup crossed into on-coming traffic, went into the ditch, hit two tree and came to rest in a creek bed.
