Tonight and tomorrow night the nearly full moon will pass through the constellation Leo the Lion in the evening eastern sky.

It’s also passing by Mars which is the brightest star like object in the eastern evening sky right now.

The red planet is about 63 million miles away, the closest it’s been to Earth in over two years.

There’s also a small chance of northern lights.
