TOWN OF TREMPEALEAU, Wis. (AP) — A 45-year-old man has died in an accident while removing logs in the Town of Trempealeau.

The Trempealeau County sheriff’s office says Patrick George of Arcadia was driving a skidder Monday when he was struck in the chest by a branch or tree limb.

George’s brother called 911, but George died at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
