MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — One temperature record already broken, and we’re on our way to break another.
Sunday’s predicted high of 65 degrees should break our previous record of 61 degrees on March 11, set back in 1902.
The mid-60s weather won’t stop there, either.
Meteorologist Matt Brickman said we can expect three other records to be broken this week. Highs are predicted to stay in the 60s, with a chance of hitting 70.
Saturday’s high was 66 degrees, shattering the previous record of 59 degrees set in 1878.
And just to remind everyone, we’re still about a week and a half away from the official start of spring.
