MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Erik Haula had two goals and two assists Saturday as the Minnesota Gophers beat Alaska-Anchorage 7-3 to sweep their best-of-three Western Collegiate Hockey Association series with the Seawolves.
Sam Warning, Zach Budish and Nick Bjugstad had a goal and assist each for the Gophers (26-12-1), who won the WCHA regular season title.
Kyle Rau, Ben Marshall and Mark Alt assisted on two goals each.
Minnesota trailed 3-1 before scoring the game’s last six goals, four of those in the third period.
Kent Patterson made 16 saves for Minnesota.
The Seawolves (9-25-2) got two goals from Matt Bailey and two assists from Derek Docken and Austin Coldwell.
