Senser Closes 2nd Restaurant, Economic Reason Cited

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A second restaurant owned by former Minnesota Viking Joe Senser has closed.

The Plymouth restaurant has a sign on the door saying it shut down for economic reasons. The restaurant officially closed on March 1, according to a former employee.

Back in November, the same reason was given when the Joe Sensers in Eagan closed down.

There are still restaurants open in Roseville and Bloomington.

Senser’s wife, Amy Senser, is currently involved in a trial in the hit-and-run death of a 38-year-old man last August.

Personally I was thrilled to hear that the message board lynch mob idiots are being used as leverage for a trial move and possible added defense. Don’t throw stones in glass houses, “people.”

Here we go again, proving my point for me. Accusing others of things of which you know nothing about. Thanks for the evidence.

So if I called someone a moron, they are going to move a trial? Give me a break, just another BS reason people with Money have power to change stuff like this. If it were Jim the bus driver, he would be known as Jim the murdering bus driver. and fried in 2 weeks.

            1. Uncle Rico says:

This concept is obviously beyond your comprehension.

So people in rural Minnesota are illiterate and ignorant? It is 2012 and people around the entire State know what is going on. If the court location does get moved it will make headlines there as well. The truth is they WANT to stay in the liberal, I am so sorry, thanks for letting me go, courts of Mike Freeeeeeeeman! He learned how to handle criminal cases from Amy “Kick’em Out” Klobuchar.

  5. What a Tool says:

That’s nice Brett, you made sense until you got to “she looks guilty” that’s no better than what anybody else has said….

  6. Bud says:

The cost of them lawyers will shut them restaurants down too…..

  7. What? says:

Does anyone here remember “Jake”. I think Brett is Jake. That says it all.

  8. coacoa manlove says:

Let it get moved to willmar… The judge who is most likely going to get the case out there is judge spilseth, his daughter was killed by a drunk driver.

    1. GrandmaJ says:

There are several sitting judges out here in the 8th Judicial District. Luck of the draw will be him.

  9. I'm Jake says:

That’s great Dan put all those people out of work that had nothing to do with this case for some vendetta against a woman who had a right to due process. Yes, lawyers can be expensive so really the last thing they would want to do is close a business that will need to generate income to pay for those lawyers. People go to these restaurants your boycotts won’t hurt the object of your hate (Mrs. Senser). They will only hurt those that work there, the businesses that sell to the restaurant and the cities that need the tax revenue.

  10. ez says:

You do realize that the people who work there did not commit any crime right? Not only that, but they will now be drawing unemployment and food stamps because they can’t work, which means that we will be paying for them. Do you really want that?

  11. kevin the pompous says:

You forget that 90% of senser employees are mini wage or there abouts, they can and will find work in the service industry right away, no sweat. The only ones that will be hurt are the Amy’s and Joe’s and I say let the pigs suffer.
Brett you are blind and a fool to boot. Now let’s drag this coked up, wild eyed, lying beeeeaaatch through the corn field…….

    1. Dale Gribble says:

Most food service employees are illegal aliens, anyway. These dark-skinned crminals are a scourge on our Freedoms and deserve to starve!

      1. Janet Ramsoj says:

you are an awful person to say such things, i know plenty of people who are not of Mexican decent who work in the food industry. And we all know alot of LIGHT SKINNED Crimminals….so quit being so hateful..
