ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — An attack by an out-of-control patient at St. Cloud Hospital left six people with injuries before he was shocked with a stun gun and arrested.
Police say the 28-year-old St. Cloud man assaulted a hospital security officer, four members of the medical staff and another patient Tuesday. Authorities say two of the six attacked suffered significant injuries, including wounds that required stitches.
A police report says hospital security used a Taser gun on the man and took him to the emergency room. He was medically cleared and taken to the Stearns County Jail.
