Edina Man Offers $2,500 Reward For Dog Taken From Car

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An Edina man is hoping the public can help find his missing dog.

"I'm offering a $2,500 reward for my little baby," Kim Robson says.

He left 3-month-old Pepsi in the back seat of his car with the window cracked while he visited a friend at the Yorktown Continental Apartments in Edina. When he returned, the alarm was blaring and Pepsi was gone.

He got the German Shorthair just two weeks ago, and was devastated when she went missing.

A witness said he heard a dog whining, then a car alarm. When he looked out the window, he saw a woman holding the puppy.

Kim thinks the woman may have been worried about Pepsi, thinking she wasn't safe in the back seat.

"I'm hoping that's what it was," he said. "I'm hoping somebody was concerned, instead of stealing her for whatever reason."

Pepsi has a liver colored head and white speckled body, with a liver colored spot. If you see her, call Kim Robson at 952-926-2240 or Edina Police at 952-826-1610.
